Depoliticize Verticality, St. Petersburg, 2012 + 2013, SA+CD Taught Graduate Studio
Lead graduate comprehensive studio taught at USF School of Architecture + Community Design, Fall of 2012 and 2013. The academic exercise challenged current delivery of vertical communities. Students developed spatial proposals accommodating residents from both market and affordable units. Students also developed parochial spaces focusing on social interaction and cultural sustainability.
Assignments included: 1. Analytical Mappings, Unpacking Vertical Communities. Students Analyze spatial qualities for community members dwelling in vertical structures. 2. Analytical Construct: Programming Vertical Communities. Students analyze programmatic opportunities within dense multipurpose vertical structure.
